We we're invited to a girls day in old town with the skinner's. We looked at all the little shops, pet store, and then we had lunch at Rosa's Cafe. FUN!

"Classroom"

Well, I had great plans to organize our office/party room, I am not giving up yet... we are not starting school until August 24th. My dream school room will have wall to wall desk, cute hutch for our books (old fashion hutch painted robins egg blue and "HOT" pink inside) will go on the wall my pie cabinet is on, the wall with the princess dresses will house our desk, my scrapbook nook will turn back into a closet to hold my princess dresses, over the desk will be an old three panel door that I will paint and make one panel a chalk board, 2 cork boards. One wall will hold our state and world maps.

Since we live is sunny southern California we will start our school year out back at the picnic table and in the fort. I keep my books in a basket and Danielle keeps hers in a backpack for easy transporting.

Our little man turned three on Sunday, we celebrated his birthday with a Scooby Doo Party. I folded dog bone napkins, the kiddos love them! One thing Gage asked was a party blower, Danielle and I found this cute scooby ones at Party City.

Gage made the Scooby Doo mystery juice water bottles. Aren't they cute?

This was his first pinta, he had a blast hitting it and of course getting all the candy!

Another year? Really? May your New Year be filled with LOVE, LAUGHTER and many BLESSINGS!

So what does Fawvergang have going on in 2011??? Well, our niece Ally is graduating from Boston University in May and we are all going (woohoo), family reunion in the summer, working on our home(starting with D's room), and that's about all I know for sure... but we are excited to see how it all unfolds!

*** my top 10 for 2011 ***

1) wake up early to spend some quite time with just me & my husband before he goes to work(that is going to require me to make myself go to bed earlier)

2) morning, afternoon, or evenig walk with D to talk about girl things ( stop laughing, I can handle it) heck I'm laughing and shaking at the same time...

3) find a new church for our family

4) spending one on one time with the boys

5) having Sunday dinner at our house once a month with everyone

6) joining a ladies Bible study

8) date night once a month, date weekend every three months

9) quick family road trips

10) work on house one room at a time (this is hard for me) ;

first D's room makeover ~ paint, molding, bedding, floor, curtains (making together)

laundry room ~ paint, new washer & dryer

downstairs bathroom ~ tile, paint, mirror, vanity

paint house ~ inside rooms

work on backyard ~ planters for garden, grass, firepit, fort/getaway for kiddos oh yeah, hammock for me

work on frontyard after our friend the gropher stops eatting all of our plants...

Today D , G & I packed up and braved the rain to bake Christmas cookies at Jessie and Ryan's house. ( a trip that should have taken us one hour, but because of the crazy RAIN it took us over a hour and a half). Nana meet us there. Jessie had breakfast waiting for us and then the baking began... we made 3 large batches of sugar cookies, chocolate fudge, peanut butter balls, and grandma's banana bread. Yum! we had jessica's red velvet w/ cream cheese , chocolate w/ mint chocolate chip and vanilla w/ raspberry cream, YUM!

our dessert buffet, fresh strawberries w/ white chocolate dip, cupcakes; red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla, assortment of red candies, monogramed cookies, white chocolate covered popcorn.

d stayed a couple of days in san diego with her nana & papa this week. of course i couldn't meet them to pick her up without going to our favorite thrift store. these are my new treasures...

love them! gavin and gage both got books, i got a cute yellow tray, bud vase, fruit bowl and the two following items.

my mil got this for me, isn't she cute? i LOVE it! thanks mary.

i have been wanting one of these for along time. it had never been opened. can't wait to use it at my next party.

we are redoing d rooms in a beach theme so we have been collecting little things, perfect for her new lamp. cute!

and of course, d found her a new treasure. until next next weekend.

Who would have thought after a 11 years of homeschooling our older children I would have such a hard time finding the "RIGHT" curriculum for our youngest. I am happy to say I am very pleased with our choices. (thanks Jacquelin)

feed fish
cleaned 3 bathrooms
cleaned 2 rooms??? (why im i cleaning the guest room? there is somthing wrong with this picture)& helped with 1 room
sweep and vac.
washed, dryed,folded and put away 5 loads of laundry
drop off key and uniforms to GCA ( boy i miss that place;-( )
quick target run( ok not quick i went down every aisle)
cleaned out kitchen cabinets for items for the yard sale sat.
read to d and d read to me
looked on the computer with d for kittens
made mac & cheese for lunch
paid a bill online (fun)
looked through our new math book we just got in the mail (woo hoo)
started testing d
went over a couple of party plans for upcoming spa parties
talk to jessie (this was a treat because we don't get to see or talk to her much why do they have to grow up and get married?)
made menu plan for the week

mon. B- malt o meal L- mac & cheese D-baked lemon pepper chicken, green salad & corn
tues. B- smoothie L- turkey wrap D- fish & green sald
wed. B- eggs L- picnic in the park D - salad
thurs. B- smoothie L- sandwich & veggies D- left overs
fri. B- muffin L - salad D- were camping in the back yard, so i think we will make pizza on the grill

visited with two of my favorite little guys

sad sad crazy day...

today danielle lost a little bird that she was nuring back to health after a fall from her nest. ok i guess i should start from the begining... on tuesday morning gavin and i was hanging out playing and when went outback for to play we found a baby bird which i thought was dead, and those of you who know me, ok yeah i am a sissy i screameed and had my 5 yr old grandson cover it with a bucket until we found someone to help me get rid of it... of course no one was out. thanks! so gavin and i went to run around before it got to hot, came back and gavin being a BOY removed the bucket and the little thing was alive. by this time dani came home and the little animal lover that she is wanted to try to nurse it back to health. the mama bird was close by watching, ok fast forward to today well gage my other grandson and i were out playing in the back until the thurder and lighting started, after the storm little tweet did not make it, she went to bird Heaven. yes, d she cried, and cried and cried so big brother and nephews dug a hole in the back yard and burried tweets. then after awhile everyone was calm until mister (oh, yes!) gavin told d that her cat and dog where going to die next... why, bud...
