easy sugar cookies

cream together
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar

beat
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
then add to above mixture

in a separate bowl swift

2 tsp baking powder
3 cups flour
add to above mixture 1 cup at a time. roll( i make mine thick) bake 8-10 mins @ 350. makes 1 dozen large cut out cookies.

Glaze

whisk
1 box powder sugar
6 Tablespoons of warm water
